In light of the COVID-19 crisis, Griffith Review has made space in its weekly Great Reads newsletter to include an occasional pandemic diary.
Great Reads is a weekly newsletter of recommended reading from the current edition of Griffith Review, the Griffith Review archive, and other media outlets around the world.
The pandemic diary series was launched with work by writers including Evelyn Araluen, Andrew Broertjes, Wing Kuang and Pat Hoffie.
Funding from JNI is supporting 10 diaries throughout 2020, with work already published by writers including Alison Whittaker, Jessica White and Hayley Katzen.
Griffith Review‘s editor Ashley Hay said the pieces have attracted increased readership.
“We’re delighted to have been able to offer writers these new opportunities, to offer our readers new content, and to have expanded our reach and engagement through all of this.
