Ten FM is a community radio station based in Tenterfield in northern NSW. The stations broadcasts to communities throughout the region, including Tenterfield, Stanthorpe, Woodenbong, Texas, Deepwater and Tabulam.

JNI provided a grant to Ten FM to appoint a journalist for three months to gather and prepare local news items.

Ten FM President Peter Robinson said: “The grant funding has allowed us to seek out local news and have it prepared and presented regularly with a minimum of delay.”

“This is especially important at present due to the constantly changing regulations with regard to COVID-19 precautions and the frequent changes to restrictions applied to persons wishing to cross the nearby state border between NSW and Queensland.”
