2020 Asia Reporting Fellowship

In partnership with the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at Hong Kong University

Twelve early and mid-career journalists from newsrooms across Australia will join JNI as our 2020 Asia Reporting fellows.

The cohort will spend two weeks in an Asian country when travel restrictions allow.

They will have the chance to meet academics, political and civil representatives and journalists.

The fellowship is an opportunity for Australian journalists to spend time with colleagues from other media houses.

The program includes seminars, visits to local newsrooms, and political and cultural sites. The fellowship program is conducted in partnership with the Journalism and Media Studies Centre at Hong Kong University.

Fellows get to meet high-level contacts, academics and journalists.
