The ABC, in partnership with the Institute, has launched its Regional Schools Ambassadors Program.

ABC journalists from Albany, Karratha, Alice Springs, Dubbo, Longreach, Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Mackay, Cairns and Burnie will deliver hands-on sessions designed to help students analyse the news they consume and become empowered audiences.

Workshops are tailored to the different regions and draw on journalists’ local knowledge.
